  • ....

    It's been awhile since I wrote a blog..haha..I totally forgot about Xanga!!

    So many things have happened since my last entry, but I'm not going to say. Although I may add, it's been an event full of stress, happiness, sad, anger, hopeful, worries, and so on. I don't know where Life is going to lead me next, but I'm praying and hoping that goodness will arrive soon. It's been hard on me and Aplaham these past few weeks. There's been much short patience, debates, and frustration. Being a parent and WIFE is hard..haha...I was not totally prepared for all this, but what can I say...we just have to learn and accommodate to it. Just have to remind myself to be happy and strong...and "KEEP FIGHTING!".

    Summer is my BUNDLE OF JOY! She is what makes me happy every day. A smile from her can erase any frustration and stress from me. I love spending every moment with her. It's such a BLESSING! She's growing so fast..and gosh, she'll be 4 months on the 27th of this month! Time does fly by! I try and capture every new thing she does. Like today, she fell asleep sitting on my lap with her back against my chest for the first time. It was such an amazing moment...breathtaking I might add. It was such a cute moment! :) I love her so much!!

  • I haven't been here for awhile..haven't been able to blog. My hands have been full..yet they are still full..holding my baby while typing at the same time..lols.

    Anyways, life as of right now is such a bliss. I'm still learning to be a good mother and care taker of my young baby. She's such a handful...yet I still try to find time for myself. Gosh, I totally want to get away and have fun! It's time that my hubby and I go on a weekend getaway..a romantic weekend, just the two of us. We haven't had those in like 2 years now...geesh...it would be great! Probably thinking about going back to San Diego...but we'll see. My hubby is still thinking of a destination.

    Summer has grown so much! She's getting bigger by the minute! She's so adorable and I just love her face expressions!! :)

  • Her first Doc. appt.

    Well, Summer had her first Doc. appt. earlier this morning. She also got her first shot!! She did so well! She only cried when the needle was in..once the nurse pulled it out..she stopped crying! She's such a good baby! I'm so proud of her...she's so strong. She goes back in 2 months for another shot and physical.

    The Doc. says she's doing well...growing swell! She grew one inch and gained one pound...that's in like a week and a half. She's doing great!

    The nurse informed me that after getting her shot, she will get a fever and her leg will swell a lil bit. Also, I can't give her any medications because she's still too young...poor child. I have no idea when or what to expect, but I'll do my best to comfort her. She's sleeping silently right now...I should wake her up in a lil bit to check her diaper.

  • It's been a week since I came home from the hospital with Summer. Life with her is just wonderful! She's growing so fast...I see her changes every day! She's such a beauty! I love it when she smiles and she has the most adorable yawn ever. My nights with her have been pretty good..just that I'm lacking on a lot of sleep. I'm up at least 2 times during the night feeding her. But I enjoy every moment of it...it's not going to be long until she is going to be able to feed herself. Abe has been such a sweetheart. He's helping out as much as he can...even though he works all night and come home all tired in the morning. We are both still learning to raise our lil baby girl.

    My family came to visit me this past weekend...it was a great time! I haven't seen them since Thanksgiving and I missed my mom and dad so much. I was so happy to see them, but tears were falling when they all left. They just live too far from me and I don't get to see them as much as I want. I got to rest a lil bit more with my mom being here. She took really good care of Summer. I watched and learned so much from her. She's the best teacher anyone can have...!! :D She called to check on Summer twice on her way home. I was like, geesh...ask about her, but what about me! :P It's cool though! It was fun watching my whole family taking turns holding Summer....my brother Kenny kept complaining that Summer was taking a poop the whole time he was holding her...lols. Which by the way she wasn't, cause we checked! :)

    Anywaise, I'm getting tired so I'm going to go try to take a nap...hopefully I can get some rest during the day so I won't be so tired at night.
